## 24 Hour Clock Format

A time in the 24-Hour Clock is written in the form of Hours: Minutes or Hours:Minutes: Seconds. The 24-hour clock is a way of telling the time in which the day runs from midnight to midnight and is divided by 24 hours. In this format, we don’t use a.m or p.m. In some parts of the world, it is called railway time. Even the international standard notation of time is based on a 24-hour clock format.

In the 24-hour time notation, we express time in hours and minutes and the day begins at midnight, 00:00 and the last minute of the day ends at 23:59. The notation 24:00 mainly serves to refer to the exact end of a day in the time interval.
